Database Support Tech

Network Health is seeking a Database Support Tech who will enhance the performance of a core database to meet the specifications of business users. You'll be involved in the planning and development of related project work, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users in a form that suits their needs.

Within this role, you will:

  • Design and create new applications and features, and identify opportunities to further optimize workflow and reporting.
  • Create reports and dashboards for end-users and management and work with business owners to implement process improvements, enhancements and issues within the applications.
  • Provide support by debugging issues, answering questions about system functionality, and responding to enhancement requests.
  • Interact with business owners to translate business needs into intuitive applications, features and reports.
  • Modify existing workflows to increase productivity and application performance.
  • Manage and support multiple critical and supporting QuickBase Applications.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • The ability to learn the QuickBase applications, building and implementation, specifically in supporting custom applications
  • Strong math and Excel skills
  • Knowledge of basic formulas and condition statements
  • Problem-solving and good analytical skills.
  • People skills, communication, teamwork and negotiation skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
