What You Will Do
Job Summary:
The Dermatology Assistant assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
Responsibilities:
+ Assists with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse.
+ Performs select clinical duties.
+ Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
+ Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
+ Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
+ Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies.
+ Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Qualifications
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
+ Required Credential(s):
+ CertifiedBLS Providercredentialed from theAmerican Heart Association (AHA)obtained within6 Months (180 days)of hire date or job transfer date.
+ One or more of the following:
+ LicensedPractical/Vocational Nursecredentialed from thestate of Wisconsinobtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ RegisteredMedical Assistantcredentialed from theAmerican Medical Technologists (AMT)obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ CertifiedMedical Assistantcredentialed from theAmerican Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
+ HS or Equivalent
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program preferred. Training as a Certified Dermatology Technician with ACDT Learning Program preferred.
Work Experience:
+ No experience required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
