PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Account Executive serves as the agency contact for customers and prospective customers. An Account Executive must get to know all of his/her clients and prospective clients and be responsible for meeting the customer's needs in a timely, effective, and courteous manner. The Account Executive also identifies and solicits sales prospects from referrals/other incoming sources and carries McClone's reputation and professional manner of conducting business into dealings with clients, agency personnel, and carriers.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
o Service existing clients by acting as their agency contact for any sales or support needs, including walk-ins and phone calls for payments, claims, and other requests.
o Retain business through proactive management of the renewal process, to include identifying policies requiring attention, requesting renewal quotes, following up on delayed renewals, remarketing, negotiating prices and coverage as applicable, renewing policies, and generating proposals.
o Proactively work to secure prospective clients by preparing materials for submission to carriers, submitting applications or obtaining rates online, negotiating prices and coverage, and generating proposals.
o Handle all inquiries and maintain service standards for all assigned clients on a continuous basis, working independently to meet their needs.
o Make coverage recommendations or changes, including efforts to add new lines of business to existing accounts.
o Follow agency and department procedures for account maintenance and sales.
o Work proficiently and independently in customer management database systems (TAM/CRM), to include strong documentation of all customer interactions and setting follow-up activities for appointments, renewals, and other actions needed.
o Work autonomously with all relevant carriers and their products, including various applications, forms, and underwriting requirements for each carrier.
o Serve as back-up to other team members.
o Maintain efficient communication with carrier representatives.
o Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and products, and help coworkers to do the same by making sure they have access to the same updates.
o Assist with industry research and presentation needs.
o Delegate applicable task work to Administrative Support staff to enable focus on customer service and sales activities.
o Train other employees and undergo continuing training as needed.
o Offer constructive suggestions for improvement of departmental or agency procedures, wellness initiatives, or operational efficiency.
o Other duties as assigned and/or necessary.
Qualifications:
Required:
o Experience in related insurance customer service and/or sales or successful completion of insurance/business related college courses.
o Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel (including the ability to use formulas in Excel) and demonstrated proficiency in customer management systems.
o Excellent written and oral communication skills.
o Excellent problem resolution skills.
o Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
o Ability to delegate work to support staff.
o Current insurance license.
o Valid driver's license.
Preferred:
o 2-3
years' experience in related insurance customer service field.
o Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
o Relevant insurance industry designation.
o Supervisory experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
