This public facing position works out of the Menasha Job Center and other sites in the community to meet with job seekers and employers, and every day looks different.

The Bureau of Job Service in the Division of Employment & Training has 1 permanent position available in Menasha, WI.
Remote work may be available up to 2 days per week after training has been completed and per business needs.
This is, however, predominantly a public facing position.
Regular travel will be required.
Most of this travel will be within the assigned region and not require an overnight, though occasional travel may be statewide and require an overnight.

Position Summary The Employment & Training Specialist is a critical member of Wisconsin's Job Service's staff.
Wisconsin Job Service works to promote economic and workforce development, employment and training, and career development.
Primary responsibilities for this people-centered position include the provision of high-quality customer service such as skills training, case management, mentoring, job search assistance, placement, career development, retention, and career advancement to a variety of underemployed and unemployed job seekers and career-changing workers.

Salary Information Starting salary is between $21.
76 and $24.
76 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, plus excellent benefits.

A 12-month probationary period will be required.
The classification title for this position is Employment & Training Specialist (schedule 12, range 64).
This position is not represented in a collective bargaining unit and is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Pay will be set in accordance with the State Compensation Plan in effect at the time of appointment.
Starting pay may vary for current state employees.
