What You Will Do Work within Essity safety standards with a responsibility for others too.
Able to learn and apply operating and mechanical skills to operate process & equipment efficiently Able to consistently apply the necessary standards to keep the process under control Regarding Mechanical skills/tasks:
Understands the Safe Operation of equipment, what it does/how it works, housekeeping, inspection, lubrication, and perform simple maintenance tasks Perform product and equipment change-overs Order and prepare raw materials and install them on the machine according Standard Operating Procedures Conduct an effective shift exchange meeting Ensure product meets costumer quality standards, correct and address issues as needed Complete all required documentation and data files during production Meet required hygiene and environmental standards pursuant to customer requirements Who You Are You are able to work a 5 or 7 day 8-hour rotating swing shift with partner responsibility.
Depending on machine assignment you can also work a rotating 12 hour schedule.
You are committed to working as a team with your partners and others within the organization.
Motivated self-starter with strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability, a minimum of one (1) year of prior machine operations and support knowledge, and ability to collaborate with small and large teams to sustain production and drive improvements.
Familiarity with machines such as Perini Winders, PCMC, and Bretting Folders, Infinity and Provantage automated case packers and other automated finished product delivery systems.
