This is a permanent full-time position This position entails working with our customers over the phone to gather the pertinent job information, answer any questions they may have, and schedule the customer appropriately.
The office assistant will assist in dispatching our service technicians to their next jobs, filing paperwork, collecting of mail, emailing customers, reviewing pipe inspection video, along with any other day-to-day tasks.
For this position we are looking for someone who has:
Excellent communication and phone skills coupled with the ability to gather required information, take message or transfer call Basic knowledge of computers -can run Microsoft Word, Excel, some knowledge of QuickBooks is helpful, but not necessary Dispatching experience preferred, but not required Ability to multitask with accuracy in a fast paced environment Able to change direction quickly with frequent interruptions in workflow Able to prioritize work according to urgency Ability to get along with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and flexible manner Research and developmental skills Excellent organizational skills Complete forms in accordance with company procedures Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies May also assist with:
Maintain scheduling and event calendars Manage projects or contribute to committee or team work Operate office equipment, such as copiers or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions Order, track, and dispense office supplies and miscellaneous items Schedule and confirm appointments for clients, customers, or supervisors Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as attendance records, correspondence, or other material Provide services to customers, such as order placement or account information

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
