6 Part-time 3 hours ago Full Job Description (Part-Time-15-20 hours per week) Role The Caf Assistant Manager assists the Caf Manager with the day-to-day operations of the Caf and maintains a high standard of inventory from various vendors and local stores.
The assistant manager assists with budget tracking and equipment maintenance.
This assistant manager is also a developer (menus, new food items, social media).
This position is part of the Support Team and reports to the Caf Manager.
Qualifications Mature disciple (spiritual parent).
Developer.
Experience with business side of an organization (food service preferred).
Well-organized; detail oriented.
Proficient in Microsoft software applications.
Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Ability to multi-task.
Willingness to train/serve as barista (barista experience preferred).
Primary responsibilities Maintains inventory.
Orders product (Includes local shopping and bakery pick-ups.
Maintains vendor relationships.
Maintains applicable licensing (manager and assistant manager require food service certification).
Responsible for social media content and postings.
Ensures safe work habits, identifies, and resolves potential safety hazards, operational inconsistencies, and customer/team member safety incidents.
Documents accidents and conducts investigation.
Conducts regularly scheduled safety meetings to ensure safety standards.
With manager, monitors sales/profit/loss/budget.
Works with manager to monitor and manage the caf budget to ensure caf operates efficiently and cost effectively.
Works with accounting team related to receipts/vouchers/invoices/check requests, etc.
and ensures compliance with accounting standards (cash drawer, deposits, etc.
).
Ensures caf equipment is maintained and in good working order.
Works with the manager and team to determine new menu items and seasonal drinks.
Gives input to the manager regarding lobby and playground equipment needs and improvements.
Backup barista.
Availability:
15 to 20 hours per week (includes Sundays).
Required meetings:
Staff meetings (as available), Support Team (as available), coaching, discipleship group.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
